Stage lighting is a very important part of a good act. It makes the differance between a "turn" and a "show". It is important for the artiste to be seen clearly by the audience for which front lighting is used. Also it can add to the show to have effect lighting. This being the back lighting. In the last few years prices have come down and brought a good light show well within range of most acts. But like I said, it can be very addictive and soon you might find that you need bigger venues just to fit in your light show. Not to mention the extra time it will take to set it all up.

This list doesn't include the controlers needed to operate the lighting, the trussing and winch stands or the smoke machines and pyro detonators.
I went down that path and soon found I had more kit in the van outside the venue than in it. So now, once again, I chose to scale down and create a simple, easy to set up effective light show.
Using just 2 spectras for front lighting, 4 robos, 4 1ce scans and a simple smoke machine. However I plan to add a lazer to this set up to create a compact visual act.
