When I first started the act, one of the hardest decisions was to chose a P.A. system that would give me a sharp clear sound (especially for vocals) and not take too long to set up and break down.
Due to my low budget when I first started the business, I decided to buy the Peavey Hyasis range of cab's. These were adequate for the requirements at the time, although they are big heavy wooden speakers and having both the 115 bass and Hyasis 2 top's, they took up far too much space in transit.
After 2 years I was in a position to upgrade the system and I needed to have a bigger, more powerful P.A. This was when I discovered the wonders of "JBL Eons"! These, it has to be said, are one of the best "vocal" speakers ever made. However, they too have a small drawback. The awkward shape of the speakers makes it very hard to transport, so this means I also had to buy a larger vehicle. Once I had more space to carry the P.A. I felt the need to fill it with more good gear! This introduced me to the world of "HZ"! The Hertz Bass bins are top quality kit. With the Eons being a moulded plastic cab the bass response was not as good as a wooden cab would be, so in combination the two worked together perfectly. The best bit being that they are both light weight! (no more bad backs or whingeing roadies!!)

With the onslaught of technology (and plenty of blood, sweat and tears!) I have once again found it time to upgrade...Welcome to the world of "HK Audio". As you will se in the details below, the HK system is very small and compact, but more than this the sound quality is awesome. Although the power is only 700 watts per rig. the throw from these small speaker is amazing. With them being powered it means no more carting around heavy amps. Also a very good design feature is all bass units come fitted with wheels!

There has also been a need for stage lighting. This is a very addictive thing as one lighting effect is never enough. It is very easy to get carrried away as you will see.
